Location: Add – Edit – Archive Step 1
To access the locations section start by clicking on the “Inventory” button on the grey nav bar.
Note – There are 2 ways to enter locations into DroneLogbook. This tutorial only covers “Manual Entry” and is used primarily if you want to add a location in advance of a planned mission to access all the DroneLogbook features (weather forecast etc..). If you plan on flying without planning a mission you can always create a location when you import the logfile as DroneLogbook will automatically reverse geolocate the coordinates and provide you with a named location.

When you enter the locations section you will note the “Your Locations” text above the map. The number listed is the number of live locations store in inventory. These locations are accessible in the Plan Mission (Enterprise Level) and Flights screens when conducting flight operations. They will populate the pulldown tab.
If the pulldown tab gets to be too large you can retire a location. A retired location stays in the system (and can be “unretired” later for use) but does not appear in live locations.
